Kokyo
A home control center built for the way a household actually runs.
What it is
Kokyo is a private home control center — built to track what a household actually needs to track: upcoming payments, today's tasks, active shopping lists, documents due for review, a shared calendar, and expenses split between members — without making the money part dramatic.
It is not a bank app, a social network, or a roommate app. It is an operational tool that feels warm and clear.
Core modules
| Module | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Payments due, tasks today, active lists — at a glance |
| Calendar | Shared operational calendar for the household |
| Finances | Expense tracking, shared costs, and periodic liquidations |
| Shopping | Active purchase lists with status |
| Baúl | Document vault — contracts, receipts, important files |
Design direction
Editorial typography in titles, system sans in UI. Background: lightly warm cream. Surfaces: clean with subtle borders. Accent: terracota. The goal is a tool that feels like a well-organized kitchen — not a dashboard at a startup.
The brand mark is two halves of a heart holding each other: private, domestic, functional.
Stack
- Frontend: Next.js App Router + Tailwind CSS
- Backend: Supabase (Postgres + Auth + Storage)
- Deploy: Vercel
- PWA: Installable on mobile with offline-ready intent
Status
Active development. Architecture and data model are stable. Core modules are in prototype. Brand and visual system defined.
